Polls

     National Midterm Election Day is only a few days away.  The Republicans are forecast to win back control of the United States Senate but forecast have been wrong before.  The Polls are saying the Republicans are on an upswing but I think that so called upswing is really a mirage.  Their crystal ball might be getting a little cloudy the closer election day gets.  I have to admit, the Democrats seem to be in an unfavorable environment but the pollsters really have no way of knowing which way the large number of undecided voters  will vote.  Who answers the polling questions anyway?  I've never been contacted by a pollster and I don't know anyone who has. Besides, these are the same pollsters who said Mitt Romney was going to blow President Obama out of the water and we all know how that turned out.
     In the end I really don't think it matters who controls the United States Senate, nothing is going to get done.  Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying your vote doesn't count, it does.  Early voting ends today so if you have not already voted you only have a few hours left to get to the voting booth or you'll have to wait until Tuesday to cast a vote  Either way, do your civic duty and vote because your vote does count.  Vote with a compassionate  heart not a resentful  and vindictive soul!
