Boxers or Briefs now we know

I can not believe all the newscast about Saddam standing in his underwear. What is going on? Surely it must have been a slow news week. Other wise the news made no sense at all. Saddam Hussein, one of the most feared men has been reduced to shuffling around a prison cell in his underpants. He is awaiting trail for genocide, torture and numerous other crimes against humanity that saw the disappearance and murder of 300,000 people durning his rule. I really do not care about Saddam, he is ruthless and deserves worse. He is a modern day Adolf Hitler, no one should feel sorry for him. Seeing him in his underwear, even naked means nothing to me but to lots of people in the Middle East the picture was a violation of the Geneva agreement. There is something wrong with this picture alright, it's that the media made so much hay out of a man in his shorts. Saddam is not a Superman or God, he is now just an ageing and humble old man. It is important that the people of Iraq see him like that to destroy the myth. Maybe that will kill a bit of passion in the fanatics who still follow him. It's over guys, the evil days of Saddam's Baath Party are never coming back.
