TRUTH will always come back to bite you in the ASS

Call me what you want but just be sure to check the liberal box beside my name. I do not deny that I am a hopeless hysterical hypochondriac of history or even a impudent snob when it comes to liberal issues.
Barack Obama's comments about small town America did not sound nasty or belittling to my liberal ears. The role of faith in politics, the controversial topic of gun control and the impact of race and diversity in America should always be open for discussion. There are too many people in America who do not abide by separation of Church and State and I am sick and tired of gun toting good o'l boy whackos telling everybody they need shotguns and an Uzi. There is also too many people who would simply prefer a white man or woman in the White House. I don't care if the President is black with white poke-a-dots as long as he or she stops pandering to special interest and the five percent of Americans who have all the money.
Small town America has seen it's jobs shipped over seas, a health care crisis, gasoline prices go through the roof, mortgage rates skyrocket and a multitude of mass killings all because the current administration failed to regulate.
What Barack Obama said was true, small town America deserves to be angry, cynical, frustrated and embittered. Middle Americans clings to guns and religion because that's about all they have left to cling to which can only make them more embittered. Unless you are totally blind you should have seen that our government has been hijacked by special interest who are entirely divorced from small town aspirations.
The bitterness that the every day American feels will not be cured by ignoring it or by dismissing it. It will be cured by talking about it and working to replace it with hope. Liberal thinking is not reserved for middle class whites who belong to the granite counter top and bottle water set, it's for the entire working class. So why do Conservatives hate liberal thinking so much? Because Liberals always tell the truth with out benefit to themselves, just as Barack Obama did. When you don't tell the truth it will always come back to bite you in the ass. I hope middle America has learned that lesson in the last eight years.
