Flip It

     In today's world of smart phones, one can do just about anything with a phone.  But there are still a few people who refuse to join the revolution, continuing to use a so called dumb phone.   Dumb phones or better known a flip phones have been around since 1997, offering several advantages over a smart phone.  The battery in a dumb phone will go a week between charges while the battery in a smart phone needs to be recharged daily.  You can get a decent flip phone for $25 while  decent smart phones start at $200.  It does not get much easier than a flip phone, flip it open to answer a call and flip it closed to end the call.  The Flip phone is extremely durable and will fit in the smallest of pockets.  They are real simple, doing the very basic communications.  Best of all, they will never get hacked because there is no information on them the hacker wants.
     As much as I like all the attributes a dumb phone has to offer, I am part of the connected world so a smart phone will always be in my pocket.
