The Republicans seem to be caught on the wrong side of history. Their party is being sunk by 21st century change. I guess it's just old fashion politics, Republicans on the right Democrats on the left. The GOP's presidential candidates all remind me of a flat rock skipping across the water. They skip from issue to issue barely keeping above water but in the end predicatively sinking out of sight.
Opposition to minimum wage hikes, opposition to immigration, anti abortion, tax breaks for the wealthy are just a few reasons the GOP is sinking like a rock.
Culture wars will never again be won by the Right because the old fashion politics of the GOP are no longer a defense.
The Republican presidential debates take place next week making for an interesting night of television. Never wanting to miss a good clown act you can bet I'll be in front of the set when the first question is pitched, all the while knowing my politics are on the right side of history.
