Thelma and Louise

By now almost everyone in America has heard about this thing called the fiscal cliff but if you have not maybe this video will help you understand the dilemma  America is facing.  It's looking as though America's car is poised at the cliff and it may be the end of the year before we actually know if we slam on the brakes or take the plunge.  Everyone in government seems to be panicking while trying to avoid being identified as  the driver.  The combined effects of the expiration of Bush tax cuts, payroll tax cuts, long term unemployment benefits along with the across the board spending cuts is a political debate that;s already gone off the cliff.  I sure hope someone is willing to jump into the driver's seat because we are not talking about a curve, slope, obstacle course or bump in the road.  Maybe Thelma and Louise had the right ideal.  Maybe America needs to drive it's car off the cliff to see if there really is life after death.
