Scratches and Scuffs

Most people love their phones more than any gadget they own.  But some people feel they always need to look as good as the day they came out of the womb so they encase their phone in a protective cover.  They want everything they own  bright and shiny, I guess it's their so called cool factor taking over.
Does anyone really need to encase their phone in a protective case?  No not really but you will never be able to convince 50% of phone owners of that fact.  Personally I feel the outer case that the device comes in is adequate.  A case adds too much extra bulk, the less in my pocket the better.  If the phone gets a few scratches and scuffs so be it.  One does not need to be overly cautious when it come to a phone.  It can be shoved into a pocket, purse or backpack without much fear at all.  But there are a lot of clumsy people in the world and for them I'll make an exception. All you butter fingers need to buy a protective case now.  Better yet, Mr and Mrs Butterfinger you should not even own a phone because your going to break it no matter what you do to protect it.  I know peace of mind is priceless but anyone in their right mind would never buy an expensive phone anyway. A $750 i-phone, you have got to be kidding me.  I've bought several cars that cost less than that and I never once bought a protective case for any of those clunkers
Buy a protective case if you must but don't get mad when your phone falls out of your pocket and into the toilet because the protective case will laugh at you.  Laugh, that's what I do every time I a case one one of those 5-6 inch phones.  It looks like the people are holding a paperback book to side of their head.  If the truth be known the people who encase their phones were probably a little old ladies in a previous life.  They probably covered their sofas in plastic.
