Free Shipping

     If you do much shopping online you know some sites offer free shipping.  So many Internet shopping companies offer free shipping that most of us expect it every time we buy something on the Internet.  We will do everything in our power to get that free shipping even spending more to qualify our product for free shipping.  As for myself I tend to favor companies who offer free shipping versus companies who do not offer free shipping.
     Free shipping is not free for the retailer so they may set requirements that must be fulfilled before your product is shipped free.  This is where I balk.  I will not add to the dollar amount of an order just so I won't have to pay for shipping.  When such a roadblock is placed in front of me I usually go around it by doing more comparison shopping before placing an order.  Spending more money to get something free is not value!  Amazon offers free shipping with lots of products if the order is at least $25 and for an annual fee of $79 Amazon offers free shipping on everything  you buy from them but I am still not satisfied.
     People don't call me Mr. Free for nothing but even I know nothing in life is really free.  Is free shipping really worth it?  Some of the time it is and some of the time it isn't.
