Sweet Comback

Most of the time when a company files for chapter 11 bankruptcy lots of people get hurt in one way or another.  In 2012 the Hostess company could not come to an agreement with their union workforce so the company decide to file bankruptcy and sell off their snack brand  Was the company fixing to be sold to some foreigner  who was going to tell me "No More Honey Buns For You" ?  My fear was minimal  compared to the fear of all the twinkaholics  of the snack cake world  who feared their beloved twinkies were about to be filed under sweetness history.  Whether it was a Honey Bun, Fruit Pie, Ding Dong, Twinkie, Ho Ho or any other of the Hostess snack cakes my only thought when consuming one was "Is There Another In The House"
Have no fear Twinkie Heads your beloved snack cake has returned to the shelves after almost a year in hiding.  The cream filled cakes are a little smaller and have a few less calories (135).  I'll have to admit, their pretty good although any thing with a shelf life of 45 days can't really be good for anyone.  Eating a Honey Bun that's been on the shelf for 45 days is one thing but eating a cream filled cake that's been on the shelf for 45 days is a whole different cake if you know what I mean.
Determined to eat one of the new and improved Twinkies I made trips to four different stores over a 10 day period before able to find and buy the elusive Twinkie.  The sweet snacks were flying of the shelves like never before.  With such new found popularity Twinkaholics have nothing to fear, Twinkies are here to stay.  Comeback, yes everyone loves a good comeback and this comeback is one of the sweetest in history.
