Don't Knock It Until You Try It

     Here we go again, a showdown over the federal budget and the debt ceiling.  This time a small group of US House Republicans are holding the government hostage in an attempt to impose their radical policy views.  Their behavior is reckless, shameful and bizarre to say the least.  This group of Tea Party wackos want to defund Obamacare even if it means letting the US government default on all it's responsibilities.  Have they forgotten Obama  ran on Obamacare and he decisively  won the election.  This group of wackos has no mandate for their radical social changes..   If anyone has been given a mandate it's Obama and his implication of affordable health care for all.
     It's the same old Republican message "we hate poor people" only this time their calling it Obamacare.  This week they put their money where their mouth is when they cut 40 billion dollars from the food stamp program while they approved subsides  sending billions of dollars to wealthy farmers. Anyone who believes this group of  Republicans wackos  has American's  best interest in mind needs to pull out their bible and do a little reading.  Next, these hypocrites will try to convince everyone it's OK to pile up all the poor like cord wood when they die from like of affordable health care.   Between 1938 and 1945 another wacko group with self centered radical social views stacked the bodies of  poor and oppressed like cord wood and we all know what happened to that wacko group.
     I learned a long time ago, all apples are not red.  I want to make it perfectly clear. I don't color all Republicans the same color but lets just say I'm proud to be a Democrat.  If Ted Cruz was a Democrat and pulled the stupid stunt he's pulled this week I think I might have to burn my voter registration card.  During his filibuster from the floor of the US House of Representatives  he read the bedtime story Green Eggs and Ham to his children at home while attempting to defund Obamacare.  It's been a long time since I've read Green Eggs and Ham but I'm pretty sure the point to the bedtime story is "don't knock it until you try it".  Ted Cruz and his group of Republican wackos wants to kill Obamacare before anyone has even tried it.
