You've probably said it, I know I have. "I don't care what other people think" We both know we do care what people think of us. The pat on the back that comes from doing good deeds always seems to stroke the ego, saying we really do care how other people perceive us. Over time, our actions, appearance and even our lives are molded by how other people perceive us. Maybe we think we should lose weight so our clothes will look better on our bodies. Maybe we are nervous talking about our jobs because we fell we don't measure up to our friends lives. Living a life that follows an ideal notion of what other people think is correct is a terrible way to live but some of us do it anyway..
Believe it or not no one really does care so why do we secretly try to convince ourselves otherwise? I don't care how special you think you are your no more special than the next person. Sometime I have mental lapse thinking I might, just might be a little special but that's always because I'm too busy thinking about myself. But I guess you already know that if you follow the stories on the pages of Laywell's Lamp.
One can't please everyone all the time so trying to live up to other people's expectations only hinders our mental growth. I really don't care what you think but if you feel your one of those special people who thinks they know everything, send Laywell's Lamp a comment and try to convince me otherwise.
