The Olympic Games Are Out Of Control

     The Olympic Games will begin today. The question that needs to be ask is to what extent the Olympic Games in their current form is seen as progress in a world of controlled chaos.  The Games are failing on many levels, economic, political and humanitarian.  On the economic front, no one really knows the true cost or if they do they won't say.  On time and on budget, I don't think so.  On the political front, propaganda of employment benefits, tourism and general growth fade as soon at the Olympic torch leaves the stadium.  On the humanitarian front, the poor are told you can't stand in the way of progress while their homes are bulldozed  making room for the games .  

     The dark side of the Olympics seems to grow darker even though the IOC presents itself as  a force of good.  Tell that to all the athletes who were beaten by all those doped up Russians.  Lets face it, the Games are out of control in more ways than one.
