Banking The Smart Way

     I vaguely remember my first checking account.  I do remember switching banks because I screwed up that first checking account.  For some reason I could never balance that first check book.  That account probably required a minimum balance and for me to pay a monthly fee.  Those are two requirements I would never stand for today.  If your paying a fee or required to maintain a balance, it's time to look for a new bank.  Banks are there to lend money not to charge you to keep your hard earned money in them.

     My advice to everyone is to join a Credit Union, they are wonderful.  They are member owned and non profit.  So do your research and join a Credit Union and bank the smart way.
