I Know A Bargain When I See One

There is something special about getting a so called bargain.  I don't know many humans who don't love a great bargain but those bargains don't last forever.  Case in point, the $5 Subway Footlong Sub.  Very soon if not already the Subway chain will stop promoting those $5 Footlongs meaning many if not all the Subway franchises will likely drop them from the menu.  Yes I know those Subway $5 Footlongs could  never be described as delicious or scrumptious and they are about as far as one can get from a  Michelin Star but they are sure gut fillers.
When I received a Subway gift card for my birthday I rushed to my local Subway to use the card on $5 Footlongs before the dreaded cut off date.  That date has not been official announced yet  but I wasn't taking any chances.  Subway has already stopped promoting them, meaning each Subway store can stop selling those $5 Footlongs at any time.  That $15 gift card bought me three $5 Footlong subs in one weeks time which meant six meals, a bargain for sure.
Good bye $5 Footlong, you've filled me up many a times.  I'll miss you, my stomach will miss you and my wallet will surely miss you
