Environmental Disaster

     Climate change is happening faster and faster every year yet lots of people still deny that fact.  The current Trump administration has remained steadfast in their pursuit of it's signature policy goals of gutting environmental regulations.  They have changed most of the landmark environmental protection laws President Obama signed and the environment has suffered for it.
     Australia is burning and the Arctic  is melting.  The whole world is feeling the dangerous impact of climate change.  For years climate scientist have warned us  if we don't drastically cut global emissions we are in for a world of hurt.  Fuel economy standards need to be set higher.  Power plants need to use clean energy to produce their power.  No more drilling on public lands.  Tighten restrictions on methane emissions.  Mott of all, The United States needs to get back into the Paris climate agreement.  All those can be accomplished but I don't have much hope if Trump and the Republicans are in charge.
