Impeachment Of A President

     President Trump's impeachment trial will start next week.  I'm pretty sure the outcome is already fixed.  The President really self impeached himself long ago but the Republican  controlled Senate will never convict him.  I guess it's Tit for Tat!  A Democratic controlled Senate didn't convict President Clinton either. 
     Despite the Republican skepticism of the Democrat's charges, the drive towards impeachment has accelerated.  The impeachment inquire yielded lots of damaging facts about the President,  producing the Articles  of Impeachment.  The United States House of Representatives  delivered that document to the Unites States Senate this week.  The President has really been the driving force behind the Democrat's hard line stance.  While the notion of self impeachment is pretty silly it's true in Trump's case.  The President's actions and own words were mere cannon fodder for the Democrats.  From the President's white nationalist rhetoric  to his male chauvinistic views, from his condescending remarks to his self centered personality, it's time he gets whats coming to him. 
     The worse the President behaves the clearer his action has on the world, making it easier for the Democrats to justify their Obstruction of Justice charges.  What Trump has done is something President Nixon could have only imagined possible.  The President has and is playing with the fire of racism, negativism  and social division.  His rhetoric keeps getting  worse as the election heats up and he tries to keep his base in line.
     The impeachment trial won't change anything, Trump will get worse not better.  If  your looking to a return to normalcy don't hold your breath because there's a good chance the President will be elected to another four term.
