As of today the Shelter In Place Order is no more. We are all free to get out of the house and go almost anywhere we please. The order really never effected me very much. I'm a stay at home person most of the time anyway. Now I am ready for the grocery store to get back to normal but that will probably take a while longer. When toilet paper returned to the shelves I thought most other products would follow but that has not been the case, There are still items that are hard if not impossible to find. Now the powers to be tells us there may be a meat and poultry shortage. Buying whatever was available and not what you wanted has become the norm. When the groceries stores cut their hours of operation it forced the stores to be more packed with people. That forced the stores to only admit so many people at a time which caused long lines of people wanting to get into the stores. Things got worse not better. If it had not been for the crubside pickup service I would have been standing in line just like everyone else.
Now that we all don't have to stay at home any more will all that change? Probably not, at least in the short run. I'll probably use crubside pick up at least a couple of more time then by the middle of June I'll start going back inside the store. By that time most hard to find products will be back on selves, store hours will have returned to normal and panic buying will be a thing of the past.
