340 pounds in a speedo

Is there any reason to have a NFL Pro Bowl much less watch one? I don't know about you but my football season ended with the last play of the Super Bowl. I sure did not set aside time to watch the Pro Bowl. The offenses of these games are unimaginative and the defense is so vanilla it should be called Blue Bell.
Going to a Pro Bowl is a honor players want and crave. Most of them love the trip. They love hanging out on the beach and joining their peers on a tropical island, but they really don't want to play the game. Some bow out because they don't give a rip about the game or don't want to risk serious injury.
Go ahead, give these guys a week on the beach in Hawaii. Let the giants walk around in their speedos carrying a drink with a little umbrella, just don't make them play the game. A 340 pounder in a speedo is about all the torture I can take, don't compound that torture by asking me to watch a meaningless game.
