Hearts Chocolates and Roses

     Valentine's Day, a special time when the romantic in every human seems to be reborn.  The day is not solely for lovers, it's for close friends as well. Valentine's Day is really about friendship and the opportunity to show affection  which can come in many forms.  It's a day that gives license to act a bit more affectionate than usual.  When I look back on some of my previous Valentine's Days I wonder "did I really do that".  From bubble baths to candle light dinners on a card table, I may be a little bit crazy but I'm a romantic at heart.  At least I've got the right spirit.

     Hearts, Chocolate and Roses.   I guess it's the thought that counts and I've certainly done all the traditional things on this special but some of the wacky Valentine's Days are my most memorable.  I remember making heart shaped strawberry shortcakes, eating chocolate while in a bubble bath and buying roses of every color. You can call me a Renaissance  Hillbilly who has a sweet tooth,  an eye for colorful  detail and one of the best bubble bath builders that ever lived  but you will never be able to say I'm not creative on Valentine's Day.
