The regular season is over and college football still has no playoff. The decision as to who is number one belongs to computers and the polls. I can't blame the computers, they do not have brains but the people on the polls do, their just brain dead. The notion that a mixture of human polls and computer rankings could define two teams in the championship game is a crock of you know what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Most sports allow head to head competition to resolve disagreements over which team is best, only college football relies on judgments made by man and machine. The College football playoff is the biggest joke in sports but that's the nature of college football. This is a sport that is driven by special interest who's major conferences demand they keep most of the money flowing to them. It's a sport where bowl organizations are gigantic lucrative enterprises that want to keep others from profiting from the status quo.
Spare me all this Holy er Than Thou talk that spews from the mouth of the BCS. They might as well have all the players walk down the runway in their bathing suits and have a panel of judges from Access Hollywood or Entertainment Tonight pick a winner because College football is nothing more than a beauty contest who's crown is made from fluff.
