Autumn or Fall

Today September 23 marks the  start of  Fall.  It's really not even a day rather a specific moment in time when the sun crosses the equator.  Today marks the halfway point of the sun's yearly journey.  It's the only day of the year when the sun rises in the true east and sets in the true west.  So for all you who could not read a map if your life depended on it and think a compass is made to tell time, go out side and look at the sun as it rises or sets.  Maybe just maybe you will never get lost again but that's highly doubtful.
Autumn or Fall which every you prefer, most of the time the season has no urgent news value.  The obsession  with sports usually fills news cycles on the first day of Fall.  There never seems to be much urgency this time of year, it's simply about time passing and the upcoming holidays. We all seem to notice the passing a little more during this season.  Colors are brighter, winds are cooler, water is crisper, and sounds are amplified as Fall races to winter.  It's my favorite time of the year.
