If I had to choose a favorite meal time it would be breakfast between 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM. Eggs would be on that menu and rather than bacon or ham I prefer beans beside the eggs. But eggs every day are not good for a person's cholesterol level and besides I am too lazy to cook a breakfast like that on a consistent basis. More than likely my breakfast consist of applesauce and oatmeal microwaved for three minutes. Sometimes breakfast is a peanut butter sandwich or whatever leftover I find in the fridge. Chips even sometimes make the breakfast menu. Now that I think of it I'd probably better off if I did eat eggs every day. One thing I don't very often eat is pancakes. Maybe twice a year and never at home, pancakes make my breakfast plate. Nine times out of ten a pancake morning comes when I attend some kind of fundraiser where people from all walks of life set together pouring syrup for a good cause. A recent case in point was a pancake breakfast at the Masonic Lodge in Burnet Texas. The town's Kiwanis Club hosted an All You Can Eat Pancake Day. From 6AM to 6PM you could eat all the pancakes you wanted for $5. I won't tell you how many pancakes my $5 bought but you can rest assured I got full. Maybe in a few weeks I'll mix up my own batch of pancakes. Morning Noon or Night pancakes are good any time of the day.
