Don't Got No Baby Don't Want No Baby

Parenting has never ever appealed to me.  The next time someone ask me why I don't want kids I'll ask them why they do.  Then I'll smile and say "that's exactly why I don't".  It is a little awkward when ask either the children or marriage questions but I don't hesitate to answer,  usually getting a response of "you will change your mind".  Despite  turning 60 recently I am pretty sure  producing a litter that everyone would  goo-goo ga-ga over would be fairly easy but after all these years my mind has not changed.  When ask the munchkin or bride to be questions I always temper my answer.   What I'd really like to say is "you take care of your rug-rats and stop worrying about what's swinging between my legs" it's working just fine.
I don't know why society is always pushing parenthood on every one  walking the face of the Earth.  The day we all have to start hauling Huggies home from Walmart the world is headed for disaster.  In my defence , my position is perfectly rational but I know I'm in the minority.  Knowing what you want and staying true to those values needs no explanation.

I respect your wishes of wanting no children. However... you are missing out on the most precious gifts in life!! Children are a gift from God!
