No Military Solution

     President Obama said the United States has sent 700 military advisers  to Iraq but no ground troops will follow.  I don't understand this!  If there is no military solution to Iraq's problems why are we sending military advisers?  Isn't this the way the  Vietnam War started?

     The war drums are beating louder and louder every day.  Sending in advisers or God forbid ground troops in not the answer.  Besides, the American Public is not about to spend blood and treasure for what is really a civil war or more bluntly put a religious war.  America spent billions training and equipping an Iraq army only to see that army hightail and run when faced with only a 10,000 man opposing force.  If we are sending advisers to Iraq I sure hope they have better luck than the one who originally trained Iraq's army.  There is always a chance of mission creep in any military action.  Inch by inch it sure looks like America is escalating towards a bigger military roll in Iraq.
