The First Amendment

Republicans say it's about protecting religious freedom.  Democrats say it's about intruding upon women's health care.  I am referring to the Supreme Court ruling in the Hobby Lobby case.  The Supreme Court ruled that employers with religious objections do not have to comply with the Affordable Care Act   when it come to providing contraceptive coverage.  It is really shameful that women's access to contraception is even up for debate.  If I were a female I would be furious.  The choice whether to use birth control should be the woman's choice not her boss's  choice.  The choice of when to start a family should always be a woman's choice and no one's else.  Your boss does not belong in your bedroom!
Never before has America's highest court ruled that a corporation has the same rights of a person when it comes to religious freedom   The First Amendment has nothing to do with corporations, it's about personal rights.  Hobby Lobby is not a church or religious organization  with a faith based mission, the organization sells craft supplies.  I'll be willing to bet you can't even find a crucifix in the store.    I've probably shopped at Hobby Lobby no more than three time in my entire life but you can be sure I'll never set foot in one of their stores ever again.
Things never stay the same for very long.  Do I really have to remind you that "Patience is a Virtue"?  A Democrat will be elected as the next United States President and that president will surely appoint three new members to the Supreme Court.  I can't profess the Hobby Lobby ruling will ever be overturned but future ruling like it will never see the light of day.
