Smartphone Planet
Did you get a new cell phone during Black Friday, maybe you have one under the Christmas tree. The selection of phones is huge but trying to choose can be overwhelming. Do you select Android or ios? Do you want to spend $100 or $700? Do you want a 3.5 inch screen or do you want a 6.5 inch screen? I can still remember when the Motorola Razr was the hottest and must have phone on the planet. That was in 2004, things have sure changed. The Razr known as a flip phone or dumb phone as their called today are still around. but most people demand more connectivity and have landed on the Smartphone Planet. With the Razr all you got was talk and text. By 1999 I had mastered a computer keyboard and everything that goes along with such a system so a phone like the Razr was no use to me. The cell phones of those days seemed like nothing more than glorified line lines. Yes it allowed you to be mobile but a 2 inch screen and 120 character limit was no use to me. If I was going to carry a phone around and fool with charging it every night it needed to do just about anything I ask of it. So I hung on to a line line for a long time just as those who still think all they need is Flip phone. When Google came out with the Android operating system I told AT&T they could put the line line where the sun don't shine and then blasted off for the Smartphone Planet. It's kind of ironic that the Razr was made by Motorola and the Moto G I use currently is also made by Motorola, they do make cutting edge phones. Everything always goes full circle but calling AT&T to reconnect my line line is not in that circle. If your still using a Razr or something like it, start your rocket motor and blast off the the Smartphone Planet. Your landing will be smooth and beautiful. There is a brave new world waiting for you.
