What Time Did You Say It Was

     The Apple watch goes on sale today.  The company believes their smart watch will once again be a mass market phenomenon but they will be disappointed.  Smart watches have been around for awhile but the public is simply not buying them.  Apple watches will do the same things other smart watches do so what's so great about this watch?  It's a time piece, fitness tracker, message gatherer and compact billboard used for sending you advertisements.  It runs apps, games and lets you pay for things, oh did I mention it only works with an i phone.  The watch will cost $350 for it's cheapest plastic model and matching it with the cheapest i phone will be another $650.  Anyone who will spend $1000 for the cool factor is an idiot.
     No one needs a smart watch.  How many times an hour do you need to look at your wrist? How many more things do you need to keep charged?  How many more cables do you need to keep track of?  I don't want to deal with any of those, keeping my phone running is demanding enough.  I am sure the apple watch will do a lot of things but no one needs a smart watch like they need a smart phone.  What time did you say it was?
