Yellow Haze of Pollination

The end of spring pollen season has finally arrived.  At the height of the season there is a yellow dusting of pollen on our cars each morning.. I don't know what I hate worse, the way the windshield looks or how my nose feels during those days.  Both demand constant assistance, washing the windshield and flushing the nose with a saline solution.
The pollen and allergy index is off the charts from December 15 to the end of March.  In the Hill country to the west of Austin Texas the pollen misery is always really bad although you hear people say it does not effect them.  I always ask "how long have you lived in Austin"..  After their response  I say "just wait it will".  Crawling  skin, sneezing, coughing, nasal congestion, watery eyes, sore throat, itching ears and headaches are all symptoms  of pollen overdose.  I am so glad the yellow haze has come to an end  With in a few weeks the old body will be back to normal at least until December 15 when the yellow haze starts flying again.
