Take This Job And Shove It

I have not met many people who say they love their job.  Most of us who are employed simply go through the motions, watching the clock until quitting time.  Work can leave us stressed, exhausted and demoralized but for some stupid reason we all think we have to put in a froty hour work week.
In America society looks down on you if you chose not to work and God forbid your on welfare.  Europeans work a lot less hours than we do and they get by just fine.  Europeans even have free universal health care and a lot better social system.  Where we get 10 work days of paid  vacation the Europeans get 31 paid work days of vacation.   When you figure in holidays we get about half a month of paid time off each year while the Europeans get almost 2 month of paid time off.  Americans should stop complaining about all the hours they spend on the job and how little sleep they are getting.  American society for the most part seems to be in denial.  The more hours they work the more money they make the more stuff they can buy..  If I've said it one I've said it a hundred times "you can't take it with you", trust me it won't fit in your casket!
Living below the poverty lone will open you eyes to all kind of possibilities.  None of which require much of a job at all.  Maybe it's the time I grew up in where everyone shared everything from dope to love, to food to the space of daily rest a 9-5 job has never really suited me.  Oh I've had structured jobs over the years but hated every minute of them and more than on one occasion took a permanent leave of absence.  So the next time your about to explode while at work tell the boss you've had enough and can't take it anymore.  When that time comes and it will, don't let fear win out, take Johnny Paycheck's advice
