Benghazi Fades Away

     Benghazi means one thing to Republicans and another to Democrats.  Four Americans were killed during the attack on the US Embassy in Benghazi but in the grand scheme of history, America has had a lot bigger foreign policy tragedies, blinders and miss calculations.  Don't miss read my thoughts, anytime a single American dies in the defense of this country it is a tragic event.
     The House Select Committee on Benghazi was more about sinking Hillary Clinton than it was about getting to the bottom of what happened at the US Embassy in Benghazi.  The committee grilled Mrs Clinton for eleven hours and learned nothing they didn't  already know.  Like I said, they were after something larger than Benghazi.  What the committee wanted was too big to define so they came away empty handed.  Hillary stuck to the putative subject matter and that did not interest  Republicans on the committee.  Played out on live television, the Benghazi hearings were purely a partisan exercise aimed at sabotaging Mrs Clinton's presidential campaign.
