is a time when we pay our respects to those who gave their lives keeping America free. We not only look to the past but must look to the future for liberty, justice and human rights. Thanks to those we honor on Memorial Day, a lasting peace exist in America today. Peace in the world is something we can never take for granted. The minute peace is taken for granted, it's survival is in jeopardy. Awareness, preparedness and strength are all needed for peace to succeed.
Some will always say "it's not America's business to solve the world's problems". To a point their right but like it or not America is part of a larger world. If America were to turn it's back on the world it would be disastrous for the world let along for America itself. On Memorial day when you salute the flag, remember what all that flag stands for and remember all those who kept and keep the flag of freedom flying.
May God bless all our brave soldiers who have paid the price of death to defend our great country! May they rest in peace!!!!!!!!
