Cruising To The End

The Trump-Cruz battle took a sharp turn last week when Ted Cruz chose Carly Fiorina as his Vice President.  The battle  came to an end this week when Trump defeated Cruz in the Indiana primary.  Cruz is so far to the right of the Republican electorate there was no hope for his broader appeal.  The Republican Party is going to lose control of the Senate for sure and may even come close to losing control of the House  with Trump on the GOP ticket.
If I were a Republican I would be very frustrated.  I could never vote for Trump but what choice is left?  Cruz you say, not anymore.   A man who did his damnedest to shut down the government and repeal the Affordable Care act   had no place in my world and now he's in no one's world. His last and biggest mistake was choosing  a Vice President that's worse as he is.  Carly Fiorina single handled destroyed Hillard Packard when she was CEO of the company.  While CEO, she laid of 30,000 employees, the company's stock price dropped in half and the HP's board of directors finally fired her for doing such a terrible job.  At least now America won't have to see  another HP disaster unfold in the White House.
With Cruz at least you know what your getting, a socially conservative politician who caters to the Tea Party.  Unlike Cruz who cruised his car into the ditch at high speed. Trump is a total wild card, one never know what he will say or do. He will keep his car on the road until Hillary runs him over and then he will crash into the ditch just as Cruz did. The only choice the Republicans really have is does death come from poisoning or a gunshot, either way the GOP is doomed.
