Did You Make One

Almost everyone has the same experience with New Year's resolutions.  Our intentions are good but our physical actions leave a lot to be desired.  We start off the new year with a good attempt  at keeping our resolutions but little by little they fall by the wayside.  By April Fool's Day the joke is on us and tell ourselves maybe we will start all over next January 1.
Why are New Year's resolutions so important anyway?  It's not like we are a failure if we don't make one.  The failure comes when we don't keep our resolutions so why make one at all?  New Year's resolutions are doomed to fail because we make them.  Your not going to lose weight and even if you do your going to gain it back.  Your not going to save more money and even if you do you'll buy something you didn't  need in the first place.  Skip the New Year's resolutions  you will be much happier this year.
