Halftine

The Super Bowl is only a couple of days away.  The New England Patriots will play the Atlanta Falcons.  This year I can't seem to get excited about the big match up.  Never cared much for the Falcons.  They remind me of the Cincinnati Beagles, you know their in the NFL but neither the Beagles or the Falcons make much NFL news.and both are my least favorite NFL teams.  As far as the other team in this year's Super Bowl, the Patriots should garner every one's respect.  They are going for their fifth super bowl win with the same starting quarterback.  New England was one of my favorite NFL teams up until a few years ago.  Ever since they were rocked by several cheating scandals my respect for the Patriots organization has gone into the dump.  Don't get me wrong, I still very much respect their athletic ability and they will probably win the game.
Super Bowl Day is an exciting time even if the game and or teams are duds.  I doubt anyone needs convincing that the food choice for the special day can be just as exciting as the game itself.  If there was ever a day to be a glutton it's Super Bowl Day.  Only Thanksgiving Day can rival it.  Most times I stick to Super Bowl Day food favorites.  Pizza, beer, chip and dip, chicken wings, BBQ, foot long sandwiches or hot dogs.  But this year I'm having none of that stuff.  Oh I'll probably have some chips and dip sometimes during the day but the main Super Bowl meal  will be a little unconventional.  So if your wondering what I will be eating during the Super Bowl, log on to my photo web site LAYWELL FRONT PAGE  during Halftime where I'll post photos of the meal.  I'll give you a clue, the meal will relate to both New England and Atlanta.      .
