A Present I Didn't Need

The desire to buy things seems to pop up more that it used to and succumbing to that desire is all to easy with today's Internet shopping sites.  Convincing myself of the positive impact a new product will have on my life  is as easy as hitting the check out button.  Sometimes that positive impact grows to ridiculous proportions which reinforces the ideal that I can't live without the new purchase. Assured the new product will alter how efficient I can get things done I pull out the old credit card  and worry about the cost the following month.
Every product has it's positives and negatives but over time it's easy to sweep away those negatives and stress the positives   Never wanting to admit I should have never bought it in the first place I'll use the excuse "it was a bargain".   Bargain or not what I am really trying to do is convince myself I deserve all those holiday present I  bought for myself.
