Battling The Press

     The Trump administration fired their press secretary, hired another then fired him all in a matter of eleven days. The President has fired his Chief strategist  The  President fired his right hand man and replaced him with a General.  Two weeks ago the FBI raided the house of the President's former campaign manager.  The President has all but called the Senate majority leader a scumbag for not passing the Health Care bill.   The President's head guy on the Jobs council resigned in protest over the President's response to the deadly racist activity in Charlottesville Virginia.  Then the President ripped into that man who is the CEO of Merck Pharmaceuticals, saying he could now go back to ripping off the public using Merck's drug pricing. Now so many more CEOs on that council have resigned it forced the President to disband all his special  councils because no CEOs would replace the ones who resigned.   If anybody in this world is a scumbag it's President Trump.  How are we suppose to trust a man that can't even run his own house  much less treat people like shit every time they disagree with him?
     Our only defense against President Trump are the news outlets that have an obligation to point out the President's screw-ups and his flaws.  If it were not for the Press we would not know about the President's self centered mouth, his financial conflicts and his troubling ties to Russia.  Obviously the President has declared all out war on every news organization with the exception of Fox.  Fake News seems to be the President's favorite quote   Anyone who follows the political world knows this kind of squealing with pointless insults is the sound made by politicians when the truth makes them feel cornered and uncomfortable
     All this reminds me of the story about the Emperor's New Clothes and his Royal Court of flatterers.  Sooner or later the Trump story is going to turn out just like the Emperors did.. The public will see that Trump has no clothes and his court of flatterers will desert his just like they did with the Emperor.
