President Trump held his first rally in three months last week and the rally turned out to be a huge disappointment. Trump's people claimed one million people submitted ticket request but only six thousand of those one million showed up. First Trump tried to blame the dismal attendance numbers on protesters but the Tulsa Oklahoma police said the protesters were very peaceful and caused no trouble at all. When that excuse wouldn't fly, Trump blamed the dismal attendance on the corona-virus. Maybe the six members of Trump's advance team that came down with the virus had something to do with the low attendance count. Six out of one million is a lot of people.
With rallies in Arizona and Wisconsin this week maybe the President will get back on track but every week he falls farther behind Biden in the polls. Lets face the facts, President Trump's presidency is in a tailspin. His handling of the corona-virus and the protest in the wake of George Floyd's death have led many of his supporters to abandon him. The President had two hopes for re election, the strong economy and law and order. The virus has put a whammy on the economy and Black Lives Matter has put a whammy on law and order.
Most people have already formed an opinion on the President, good or bad but it looks to me that the President is screwed. If he can rebuild the economy, restore social stability and get America back to normalcy before November he could win a second term but I don't think he can do any of those three things.
