Yes I know hot dogs are not necessarily good for you but I like them anyway. A dog or two every once in a while won't hurt anyone. If the world was a perfect place no one would have heart problems or have to watch their salt intake but that's not the case. Some of us need to be careful when it comes to slamming back more than a few of those delicious salty logs all at one time.
National Hot Dog Day is next Wednesday. It looks like I'll be celebrating the day at home. In past years I've headed to Sam's for their one pound $1.00 hot dogs, but Sam's has closed their cafe because of Covid 19. My second choice several years was Sonic with their 50 cent dogs on National Hot Dog Day but I'll be staying away from Sonic also because of Covid 19. I'll put all Covid 19 health concerns away and just fix some hot dogs at home on National Hot Dog Day.
