Madam Vice President

     Joe Biden plans to announce his choice for Vice President on or before August 1.  He has promised his choice would be a woman.  I hope he holds true to his word.  There are several women in the running and all but one is African American.  My personal choice even from the start has always been Susan Rice.  If Biden does not choose her as his running mate she would be a shoe-end for Secretary of State.
     Susan Rice has no background in electoral politics and has never run for any political office.  Maybe that's a good reason for her to get the job.  During the Clinton administration she was on the National Security Council and a member of the State Department.  During Obama's administration she was Ambassador to the United Nations and the National Security Adviser.  The only knock against her if there is one is her crafting of Obama's foreign  policy.  Personally I never had a problem with Obama's foreign policy except when he failed to do anything to the Syrian government when they gassed their own people.  Currently most of our allies  hate us because of Trumps foreign policy so anything would be an improvement.

     Maybe Susan Rice is who the nation needs at this time.  I think she would make a good and steady Vice President and could be elected President in the future.  I sure hope Biden chooses her but if he does not I will support whom ever he chooses.
