Mr White is Harvard educated and former Mayor of Houston Texas. He represents the Democrats best chance in the last fifteen years of capturing the Texas governorship. His task is a duel one. He must appeal to moderate voters all along making sure the party faithful show up at the polls. He has no hope of winning Republican dominated suburbs so he needs to write that group off and concentrate on the Border vote.
Mr Perry is Texas A&M educated and two term Governor of Texas. He keeps hammering away at the anti-Washington sentiment. He has been real good at playing a balancing act between Latinos and the Tea Party. That strategy could be stupid or smart, we will have to wait until November to find out. But if I was undecided as to who to vote far, that strategy of Mr. Perry's would cause me to vote against him.
I talk a good political game but I am no different than anyone else, I have no clue who is going to win the Texas governorship. The day I can correctly predict tomorrow's weather or know for sure what the stock market is going to do in the next five minutes I'll apply for a job with the Governor, who ever he is.
Who am I going to vote for you ask? The ballot is a private document so you'll never truly know the answer to that question but I will give you a clue. If I were in the market for a horse I would purchase a Harvard educated one. I don't think there has ever been a horse born that has learned anything from living in Bryan/College Station for four years. Place your bets, the horses are at the starting gate!
