Turn Out The Lights The Party's Over

It has not been easy to love the Dallas Cowboys this year.  Even the team's die-hard fans will tell you it's been a dreadful year for the silver and blue.  The team has gone from being  more important than another other National Football League team to only making news when it fires the head coach.  It's about time the world's media finally reach the end of their ridiculous obsession with the Dallas Cowboys.  The media's vision of grandeur foretelling Super Bowl Championships  the Boys were surely to win came to a screeching halt soon after this year's season began.  I cant' believe the team's fans swallow that crap every year but swallow they do.  Even with 13 long years with out so much as one playoff win, the team's fans see a 16-0 season and a Super Bowl victory. Take off those Blue and Silver shades! This season was a dismal 6-10 with  no trip to the  playoffs much less the Super Bowl.
Things never stay the same for very long right.  Well that's kind of right.  The Cowboy's stadium was demolished to make room for "Jerry's World" aka Cowboy Stadium and the NFL designated Jerry's World as the site of Super Bowl XLV.  Surely the team's stars would align and the Boys would play for the league's championship in their home stadium.  At least that is what the world's media conjured up and was dead set of sticking with their prediction until every thing but Jerry's World began to fumbling out of control.
How in the heck did things get so ugly so fast?  At the start of the season it looked like the only two things the Cowboys needed to do was, execute and stick to the program.  Those lofty expectations never seem to materialize which delegated the Boys to just an ordinary team, not the Super Bowl team the media portrayed them as.  There is a part of me that sympathize with the Dallas Cowboys because a team can't always choose  the story line the media pressures them to carry out.  Was it a disastrous season for the Cowboys?  Yes it was but expectations were unrealistic from the start.  One look at the Boy's 2010 schedule should have convinced most sain people but then again most rabid Cowboy fans are not totally sain. TURN OUT THE LIGHTS THE PARTY"S OVER.
