The World Is Watching

     America never seems to learn it's lesson.  From Vietnam to Iraq and now Syria we always seem to be late to the party.  At least this time we will not commit ourselves to a opened ended commitment of war.  I fear isolated and very limited strikes against Syria's military assets  won't be broad enough in scale.   I am not talking about putting boots on the ground as both the Bush Presidents did but let's at least send a Cruise missile up the Syrian President's ass.  If America had shot a Cruise missile up Saddam Hussein's ass the first time he gassed his own people the US would not have had to send 500,000 troops to Kuwait in 1990.  It's a shame we never learn our lesson.
     All of us should be held accountable so I am glad President Obama handed the War Powers Act to the US Congress.  Now it's time for the do nothing Congress to "put up or shut up".  I am sick and tired of those who critique and criticize from the sidelines.  I say to Congress "put vote on the line" so history can see how each and every Congressman voted.  America and the World will be watching.
