I Do Not Recall

     Memory loss seems to be affecting most of the people in the Trump administration.  If you watched any of the Senate Intelligence Committee hearings you heard "I do not recall"  over and over again.  Does everyone in the White House have amnesia?   I guess if your caught up in scandal one tries every way possible to fight off a perjury  charge.  Sooner or later the game of dodging tough questions with "I don't recall" will catch up to you.
     Faulty memories have had a staring role in most presidential scandals and President Trumps troubles seem to be no different.  If I were a prosecutor I'd never buy the "I don't recall" defense. We all have a little fallible memory but there are ways to reconstruct history so one never has to use the "I don't recall" defense.  Maybe Trump's team needs a history lesson in reconstruction.  President Nixon's team failed at that and you know what happened to them.
