A Loner Thanksgiving

     Thanksgiving is one of the biggest gathering days of the year.  The holiday's experiences every year have made me a more open person.  Although I don't won't to admit it, I was probably somewhat of an asshole some Thanksgivings  back in my drinking days.  I don.t drink anymore and that's sure made the holiday a lot more enjoyable.  I don't care who does or does not show up at the family Thanksgiving gathering, all are welcomed.
     This year my family scattered to the wind so I'll be observing the holiday by myself.  A Loner  Thanksgiving and I don't mind it a bit.  Don't get me wrong, I love my family  but I'll see most of them on Christmas.  I'll spend Thanksgiving cooking a traditional Thanksgiving meal, watching parades, sports  and a movie on the Television.
