Austin Art

     Austin has lots of artist.  Artist of all kinds love the city for all it has to offer.  Every year the city of Austin chooses about a dozen artist to place their art in outdoor public places.  The art stays in place for three months then is removed.  The following year, new artist and sites are chosen.  Although the art is  temporary it plays an important  role in attracting new artist to the city.  Art placed in public sites enriched civic dialogue, tourism, public space and gives the artist a chance to explore themselves using an outdoor medium.  Some of this years art may be thought provoking while some may impact the environment.  I visited four of this years nine art sites
