Don't Rain On My Parade

Veteran's Day is Sunday November 11th.  This year I'll skip the usual Veteran's Day Parade in downtown Austin and do something a little different on this Veteran's Day. I'll drive to Marble Falls Tx  to view the classic war movie The Longest Day.  The movie is free for veterans but for me it will cost $5, a bargain for sure.  The movie will be shown at the City's 70 year old Uptown Theater.
President Trump wanted his own military parade but those plans were canceled.  The cost of the President's parade was going to be 92 million dollars not the 12 million he said it was going to cost.  When the President found out the actual cost of the parade he blamed government officials for running up the parade's cost.   Typical Trump blaming someone else when it's actually his own fault.  I know it's the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I but even spending 12 million much less 92 million on a parade is stupid.  I guess the President's parade got rained on.
