A Threat to Democracy

     There are those who want to impeach the President and there are those who don't want to impeach the President.  One thing is for sure, the Democrats can't seem to make up their minds as to what they want to do.   They slam the President, calling him a threat to democracy, yet they can't get together on the act of impeachment.    It's looking more and more like the Democrats can't walk and chew gum at the same time.  The whole impeachment thing is a dilemma for the Democrats.  I personally think trying to impeach the President is a waste of time because it would never get out of the Republican controlled Senate.  On the other hand if the Democrats don't try to impeach him, the party's base will be alienated.
     President Trump would love for the House of Representatives to try and impeach him.  An article of impeachment would be fodder for his reelection cannon.  President knows the Republican  Senate will never impeach him.  It looks like we will have to live with a threat to democracy at least until the 2020 election and even beyond that.
