Students who come from families making less then $65,000 a year will have their tuition covered by the University's endowment. This is a great step in getting higher education fully accessible to those students not financially blessed. This jester by the University will provide full tuition for 8600 under graduates students and tuition support fro an additionally 5700 students who's family's have yearly income between $65.000 - $125.000. All of this money will come from the Permanent University Fund which earns it's money from oil and gas royalties on State owned land in West Texas. Now the oil and gas that powers America will empower the students at the University of Texas.
