Longhorn Football

The University of Texas at Austin played it's first football game of the season last weekend.  The stadium looked a lot different from previous opening day's.  Only about 15,000 people attended the game in the 100,000 seat stadium.  The limited seating capacity was because of Covid-19 restrictions.  If you were not one of those 15,000 people allowed into the stadium, UT offered to place a cut-out with your photo in your regular season ticket seat.  Of course the University of Texas was not about to let you set in the stadium free of charge, in person or virtually so they charged $50 for the cut-out of the season ticket holder.  It would be a cold day in Hell before I'd pay $50 for any kind of UT ticket.   Anybody who paid $50 to have their photo cut-out placed in their regular game day seat needs to have a mental evaluation and probably have all their burnt orange clothing burned.  I guess the photo cut-outs are not as bad as they seem, I mean it works out to $10 a game and at the end of the season  you can pick up your cut-out  free of charge. That's mighty big of the University of Texas, a university who's football program brings in one hundred million dollars in revenue every year.
